Disaster relief.

Each year, BMW supports the Red Cross by donating $5 for every first aid kit sold, ensuring a minimum annual contribution of $150,000. We also provide additional support that helps them provide shelter, supplies, and relief services to vulnerable communities, such as those affected by the 2025 California wildfires and Hurricane Helene in 2024. This long‑standing relationship with the American Red Cross reflects a shared commitment to protecting lives, strengthening communities, and responding with purpose when it matters most.

BMW Scholars.

Through the BMW Scholars Program, students in manufacturing related degrees can get their foot in the door at BMW by attending class full-time at Tri-County Technical College while working part-time hours at BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC. Since the program began in 2018, every one of the 218 graduates has been offered a job.

College partnerships.

We invest in and partner with a number of colleges across the country, including Clemson, Georgetown, UC Davis, and MIT. Through these investments, students are not only able to learn more about automotive design and engineering, but contribute their research and efforts back into the industry in order to further improve the vehicles of the future.

BMW on the green.

BMW has been a prominent partner in the world of golf for decades. Since 2007, the company has served as the title sponsor of the BMW Championship, the penultimate event of the PGA TOUR’s playoffs for the FedEx Cup. All proceeds from the BMW Championship benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation, which provides full college scholarships to young caddies. To date, the BMW Championship has helped raise over $60 million and send more than 4,000 students to college.

How we make a difference.
