The luggage compartment of the BMW iX5 measures 27.3 - 67.7 cubic feet. Another 1.87 cubic feet of space is available in the frunk. This is also where the charging cable is stored securely and within easy reach.

The controls for the seat position and backrest, as well as other elements, are made of fine crystal glass—a sparkling highlight in the interior. The charging cradle in the center console is covered with dark Alcantara, the soft materials of which forms a pleasant contrast to the haptically unique available slate surface of the rest of the control center.

In the second row of seats in the BMW iX5, smartphones can be securely stored for an optimal entertainment experience. Devices can be held by the magnetic smartphone holders with a USB-C charging socket, part of the Travel & Comfort System.
