Available Highway & Commuting Assistant.

Your BMW maintains speed, keeps a safe distance, and steers. When the system is ready, you can take your hands off the steering wheel at speeds of up to 85 mph on approved highways, as long as you pay attention to the traffic and intervene if necessary. You can confirm suggested lane changes by looking in the exterior mirror. You can also initiate an assisted lane change yourself by tapping the turn indicator.

Driving Assistant Plus.

The system makes steering and braking easier for you. The Driving Assistant Plus can detect and automatically adapt to speed limits, and even adapts the speed as needed when approaching corners, roundabouts and junctions. If you wish, it can control the speed and distance from the vehicle in front and help you to keep your BMW in lane.

Available Parking Assistant Package.

With a compatible smartphone, your BMW can carry out parking maneuvers from a distance of about 20 feet. Select a parking maneuver in the My BMW App and carry it out by tapping and holding until parking is complete. You can transfer a maneuver you started in the vehicle to your smartphone at any time, seamlessly and intuitively.

BMW Symbiotic Drive.

With Symbiotic Drive, the new BMW iX4 is creating a new level of driving experience in combination with driver assistance systems. The driver's desire to accelerate, brake, or steer merges seamlessly and intuitively with the AI-supported software at all times, creating pure driving pleasure. Many of these driver assistance features are already included in basic and standard equipment.
