EXPLORE BMW M
BMW M vehicles are precisely engineered and designed for performance driving. This impacts everything—the engine, transmission, exhaust, suspension, steering, seats, wheels, and aerodynamics. For example, the M4 Competition xDrive Coupe (M Model) offers more pure power than the M440i Coupe (M Performance Model), featuring a high-performance 3.0-liter BMW M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine that delivers 523 hp and achieves a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds.
BMW M Performance variants are road-ready vehicles enhanced with the epic engineering of BMW M. They include several BMW M engineering and design elements— including sport-tuned suspension, M-inspired exterior styling, performance brakes, and exclusive interior trim—designed for drivers wanting elevated performance and style for daily driving.
BMW AG preliminary test results. Actual acceleration results may vary, depending on specification of vehicle; road and environmental conditions; testing procedures and driving style. These results should be used for comparison only and verification should not be attempted on public roads. BMW urges you to obey all posted speed laws and always wear safety belts.
All-electric BMW M Performance models deliver enough range on a single charge for long weekend rides or road trips. The BMW i4 M60 has a range of 232 to 278 miles. The BMW i5 M60 has a range of 259 to 277 miles. The BMW i7 M70 has a range of 267 to 285 miles. The BMW iX M70 has a range of 283 to 303 miles.
Estimated ranges are attainable when fully charged under ideal driving conditions. Actual range will vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to: vehicle model, tire and wheel selection, driving style, traffic conditions, and outside temperatures. Some vehicles may not be fully certified by the EPA and US Department of Energy. In this case, the range is an estimate according to preliminary BMW AG tests based on the EPA’s test procedure standards. For EPA certification status and additional information about specific models, visit www.fueleconomy.gov.

No, there are currently no all-electric BMW M models yet, but BMW offers the following all-electric M Performance models: the BMW i4 M60, the BMW i5 M60, the BMW i7 M70 and the BMW iX M70.
All-electric BMW M Performance models provide unique performance benefits that make them competitive with traditional M vehicles, such as electric-motor torque delivery for quick acceleration and a lower center of gravity due to battery placement. However, traditional M models, like the M4 Coupe, typically offer higher overall horsepower, more extreme performance tuning, lighter weight, and purer driving dynamics focused purely on speed and track capability. For driving enthusiasts, the choice between electrified and traditional M models depends on priorities: traditional M offers maximum pure performance and track focus, while all-electric BMW M models deliver impressive power and all-electric capability.
