Every BMW Certified vehicle is backed by our BMW Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty. This provides coverage for one year with unlimited miles, after the expiration of the 4 year/50,000-mile BMW New Vehicle/SAV Limited Warranty. BMW High-Voltage Battery Limited Defect Warranty

BMW of North America, LLC (BMW NA) also warrants the high-voltage lithium-ion battery assembly against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 8 years / 100,000 miles, from vehicle in-service date, whichever occurs first. This coverage is in addition to the high-voltage lithium-ion battery's limited warranty for defects in materials or workmanship. Due to its inherent technical design, the high-voltage lithium-ion battery's capacity will decrease over time and with use.

BMW CERTIFIED - BATTERY CAPACITY STATE OF HEALTH
BMW High-Voltage Battery Limited Capacity Loss/State of Health (SoH) Warranty

Additionally, all 2022–2025 BMW Certified EV models, are separately warranted against capacity loss. If the battery’s State of Health (SoH) drops below 75%, it is covered for 8 years/100,000 miles, from vehicle in-service date, whichever comes first.
