Two easy charging options.
Charge with the BMW-approved adapter.
If you own the BMW-approved Lectron Vortex Plus DC adapter, you can charge at NACS Partner Tesla Supercharger stations once your vehicle has received the required Remote Software Upgrade (RSU).
Most BMW EVs from model year 2022 and newer can charge at NACS Partner Tesla Superchargers once the required Remote Software Upgrade (RSU) is installed. 2026 BMW iX models, 2026 BMW i5 xDrive40, and 2026 BMW i5 eDrive40 models will receive this update only in early spring 2026.
Charge with the Tesla Magic Dock.
If you don’t own an adapter yet, you can still charge your vehicle at select Tesla Superchargers equipped with a Magic Dock.
