BMW Certified Warranty 
Every BMW Certified vehicle is backed by our BMW Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty. This provides coverage for one year with unlimited miles, after the expiration of the 4 year/50,000-mile BMW New Vehicle/SAV Limited Warranty. Please see the Exclusionary Warranty for more information on what isn’t covered. There are also additional plans available to extend warranty coverage. 
 
Roadside Assistance 
As a BMW Certified owner, you'll receive an additional three years of BMW Roadside Assistance and a complimentary oil change. BMW Roadside Assistance includes, but is not limited to, the following helpful services:

• Battery jump starts

• Delivery of fuel or operating fluids  

• Tire changes

• Lock-out services

If your vehicle is disabled due to mechanical issues, hazard damage, or accident, BMW Roadside Assistance will provide towing service to the nearest authorized BMW Center.

 

Fuel Delivery - Limited up to 2 gallons of fuel included at no cost to driver. Limited to 2 covered events annually. 
Operating fluids (oil and coolant) – at an additional cost for the driver 
Lock-out - Remote Door Unlock via BMW Assist is preferred, Lock-out service for certain models, short-term mobility to retrieve a spare key or towing to nearest center ONLY with appointment. 
The recommended procedure for a lock-out is to use the BMW Connected App or call to the Connected Drive call center to initiate a remote door unlock. Drivers must have a valid BMW Assist account with username and password (call Connected Drive toll-free at 1 (888) 333-6118 if your customer is unsure of their username or password). 
The Roadside Assistance or Connected Drive Specialist is capable of directly initiating a request for remote door unlock. In the event the remote door unlock service is not possible or successful, the specialist may help arrange short-term mobility to the nearest authorized BMW center, home or office to obtain a spare key not to exceed 90 miles total (to and from) for the complete journey. The locked out driver is responsible for any expenses related to ordering replacement keys if required. 
Trip Interruption - When drivers experience a breakdown, BMW Roadside Assistance may cover some incurred expenses - meal, lodging and alternative transportation (rental or public transportation) IF:

• The incident occurred more than 100 miles from your primary residence.

• The incident is due to a confirmed mechanical defect.

• The incident is resolved by a warranty repair.

BMW Roadside Assistance will reimburse customers up to $1,000 per event when incurred within 5 business days of vehicle disablement and IF the repairs cannot be completed during normal business hours on the same day of breakdown. Accidents, flat tires or road hazard caused disablements do not qualify for trip reimbursements. 
GKL models $2,500 per event. Flat tires events are eligible for Trip Interruption reimbursement.

 

Complimentary Oil Change 
The BMW Certified plan includes one complimentary oil and oil filter change, including labor. All work is carried out by BMW Trained Technicians using Genuine BMW Parts, which come with a two-year unlimited mileage limited warranty. Warranty repairs do not constitute an extension of the original limited warranty period for the vehicle or a part thereof. The complimentary oil change takes effect once the Ultimate Care standard maintenance has been exhausted. The CPO Oil Service is for contracts sold on or after 10/1/24.
