Dictate messages safely while on the move.
Message Dictation is a feature that allows you to use "speech-to-text" technology to dictate emails and text messages. Then, those emails and texts can be sent via your compatible mobile device. In order to use this service in your BMW, you must have a separate subscription to Nuance's Dragon Drive! Messaging (more information is available at
www.nuance.com/bmw).
This feature is available through the "Office" menu under the menu item "New," on suitably-equipped vehicles with Navigation. After agreeing to the Speech data Terms of Service and then entering the email address to be used as your Nuance login, you will be able to sign up for a free 60 day trial with Nuance. Usage of this service beyond the included 60-day trial period requires a separate subscription with Nuance. More information is available via
