NATALIE COUGHLIN: SWIMMING

Eleven-time Olympic medalist Natalie Coughlin is only two Olympic medals away from becoming the most decorated female Olympic swimmer in history, and the most decorated female U.S. Olympian across all sports. Natalie made a splash in the 2004 and 2008 Games by earning more medals—five in Athens and six in Beijing—than any other female athlete. She is also the first woman to win consecutive individual gold medals in the 100 meter backstroke and has remarkably medaled in every Olympic event she's ever entered. Natalie won gold, silver and bronze medals at the 2011 World Championships and now, with London on the horizon, she's poised to win multiple medals and ultimately become one of the greatest athletes in Team USA history.
