American Le Mans Schedule

The legacy of BMW continues with another year of highly anticipated BMW Motorsport success.

The 2011 American Le Mans Series season ended with BMW Team RLL winning a second consecutive Manufacturer's Championship for BMW at the final race of the season, the Petit Le Mans. With that win, it also clinched a coveted hat trick for the 2011 Season. In September, drivers Dirk Muller and Joey Hand won the Grand Touring Driver and Team Championships with a second-place finish at the Laguna Seca Raceway. And to top off an already incredible year, BMW was awarded the Green Challenge Trophy for being the race car manufacturer with the best fuel efficiency and the least environmental impact over the course of the season. Additionally, BMW Team RLL won the Michelin Green X Challenge Trophy for being the most fuel-efficient team over the course of a season. With accolades such as this, 2012 is sure to be a season that's just as exciting.
