The legacy of BMW continues with another year of highly anticipated BMW Power success.
The 2011 GRAND-AM season ended with, in BMW style, a double sweep. In the Rolex Sports Car Series Daytona Prototype class, TELMEX Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates drivers Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas brought home the Driver and Team Championships, while BMW won the Engine Manufacturer Championship. In the Continental Sports Car Challenge, Turner Motorsport brought home the Grand Sport Class Team Championship, Turner driver Paul Dalla Lana won the Driver's Championship and BMW won the Manufacturer Championship with the M3. It seems that BMW became accustomed to winning in 2011. Here's to more of the same in 2012.
